此课程之目标 Class Objectives：

中文二零一之目标在于 (1) 以课本来引导学生增加其认字能力，说话能力，以及书写能力 (2) 学习中国麻将和象棋以探讨中国之文化，精髓，及民间风俗 (3) 藉“中文天地”时间来增强听力及会话能力。

 

Chinese 201 aims to reach the following objectives:

1. to enlarge students’ vocabulary pool and to increase their speaking and writing ability

2. to enrich students’ appreciation of Chinese cultures through research in traditional Majiang and Chinese chess

3. to improve students’ listening comprehension and conversation ability through “Chinese Table”.

 

 

学生成绩审核要项：

1．出席率与课堂表现 25% Attendance and classroom performance: Always come prepared with all assigned homework, written and reading

2．小考 15% Quizzes: 3 quizzes will be given in this term

3．文化学习 Cultural exploration 10%: Research and learn how to play Majiang and Xiangqi.

4．中文天地出席与表现20% Chinese Language Table and performance: attend weekly language table to participate fully at each meeting

5．期末口试 15% Oral final:
